The Top House is part of Lees and District pubwatch scheme which in turn is linked to a nationwide network of similar schemes. Member pubs within these networks work in close association both with each other and with the local police authority to try and make sure that public houses keep a safe and trouble free atmosphere for the law abiding public. This means that we do not tolerate antisocial behaviour including the following :-

Violence

Violent behaviour of any nature will not be tolerated. Anyone being violent will be asked to leave and if they refuse, the police will immediately be called. In turn, pubs within a pubwatch area will notify other local pubs of the behaviour along with a description, meaning a breach of the above could mean you will not be admitted to any pub in that locality after being evicted. If the police become involved you risk having an exclusion order served on you which entails your not being permitted to enter any licensed premises in the area for a set period of time, usually 2 years!

Drugs

Drug abuse of any kind will not be tolerated! Anyone caught committing any drug offence inclusive of possession will be asked to leave immediately either with or without police assistance.

IS IT WORTH IT ?
